Holiday Gift Guide 2025

Hi guys!

I feel like I had a lot of good gift ideas this year, so I decided to make a list to help out anyone struggling to think of what they want for themselves and others this holiday season!

Women

Beauty

Currently on sale for $299 (usually $400+!)

Shark Glam all-in-one hair styling tool

I just did a review of this on YouTube (opens external site) — but I truly believe this is the best hair tool on the market!! I use mine every time I style my hair. With an incredibly powerful blow dryer, easy to use auto wrap curlers, an air straightener, and a wet/dry styling brush, it has ALL my hair needs covered. And honestly, the Dyson doesn’t even come close since they added the glossi/silki wet/dry tools!!

Code KATHRYN10 has been increased to 20% off!!

CurrentBody light mask

As a girly who takes her skincare seriously, I had been wanting one of these red light therapy masks for a long time, and finally decided on the CurrentBody mask this year. This mask showed the most promise for me. First of all, there is evidence to support red light therapy and as someone who is skeptical of everything, seeing evidence sealed the deal for me. I also especially loved the CurrentBody mask because they test every single LED used in every mask to ensure the proper wavelengths are being delivered red (633nm), near-infrared (830nm) and deep near-infrared (1072nm). I also loved the flexible face shape. Since getting mine this summer I have been using it religiously and absolutely notice a difference in my skin texture and most notably for me the time it takes to fade red spots! With my fair skin it takes a long time for red spots to fade after a pimple, and this speeds it up.

Makeup brushes

BK Beauty (affiliate link, opens external site) - currently 20-35% off!

Morphe (affiliate link, opens external site) - 25% off sitewide!

Makeup brushes

This is actually what I’m asking for this year! I haven’t upgraded my makeup brushes since middle school and they have seen better days to say the least!! BK beauty and Morphe are the 2 highest recommended brands Ive seen and I requested a few brushes from both of the brands!

Dior glow palette

When looking for bridal makeup tips, I was constantly getting this palette recommended. It seems to be a great universal highlight palette that can be used across the face and body!

Stocking stuffers

Peach and Lily collagen masks

Ive used a few collagen masks and these are my favorite. This brand in general is great. Since starting to use Korean beauty products I finally understand what they mean by glass skin!! My favorite way to use this mask is to sleep with it on, and I wake up with the smoothest skin!!

Summer Fridays lip balms

I’ve tried sooo many lip balms, but something about summer Fridays just makes these truly worth the hype! I love the applicator and the scents are amazing. Pink sugar is my fave!

Clothing & cozy items

Currently on sale for $35 (normally $45!)

Ugg Tasman slipper dupes

I bought these last year when I wanted to get on the Tasman slipper trend but wasn’t ready to spend the $$ on the actual ugg version. These have held up so well and are so comfy! I do recommend sizing up 1 size! I’m normally an 8 but wear a 9

Heated blanket (opens external site)

Heated blanket

Me (and the cats) live on our heated blankets in the winter. I have 2 already, but recently saw this one at Costco and it is SO soft!

I am working on a review for the best sweat set (but it likely won’t be ready until late December or early January, I take my testing seriously!) but I recently got this set and absolutely love it! The fit and fleece quality is really great. I also love that the pants come in 3 lengths! True to size!

I now have 3 aerie tank + wide leg pant sets. These are the perfect travel/errand outputs and I think these are perfect for a gift! The top has a built in bra but is full length, and the pants have a comfy wide leg fit with POCKETS! True to size!

Skims robe

This was my gift last year! I didn’t have a robe and felt like I was missing one. I love that the material is very lightweight and stretchy- since I live in a warmer climate I didn’t want anything too bulky. This is perfect to get ready in since it doesn’t overheat me.

Men

This is what Ian is getting for Christmas this year (if you’re reading this - you didn’t see anything!) I don’t know about your man, but mine has been wearing the same $10 foam slides he’s had since high school and they are beat up! My whole family loves Olukai brand flip flops and slides (I have the flip flops myself!) and they are very high quality and durable!

Leather card wallet (opens external site)

Leather card wallet

This is one of my most successful gifts ever! Ian hates carrying around a big wallet so for years he kept all of his cards (which is a lot, since he loves CC points) banded together with a rubber band. I found this slim card wallet for him years ago and he still uses it every single day! It’s the perfect size and you can still carry a bit of cash as well.

Vuori joggers (opens external site)

Vuori joggers

I’ve never met someone who doesn’t love vuori joggers!! And they ALWAYS look good! Ian is very picky about activewear and this is his favorite brand.

Stakt mat

All the studios in LA use this mat and I didn’t understand the hype until I used it myself. It really is so much better than any other mat I’ve used. First of all, it has enough cushion for me and I have wrist issues, but you also can fold it easily for more cushion! Also, I HATE rolling up yoga mats — to the point where Id rather just not use one at all. This one is so easy to use and put away, I actually use it to stretch every night.

On sale for $35!! + 10% off code KATHRYN

Buffbunny ultimate pocket duffle

I have to say I didn’t want to love this bag at first due to the price. I had been happy with my $30 amazon gym bag for years. But then I got this bag and it really is that good. I am a very organized person and love having little pockets for everything, and this really has ALL the pockets!! Plus it’s big enough to fit a large water bottle and my sweater inside in the winter.

Other

Hue light bulbs

This is kind of a weird one, but these light bulbs are amazing. At night we turn all of our bedroom lights to red to minimize blue light that can interfere with sleep, and it really helps us wind down for bed. You can change them to any color you want and control it all from your phone! (But you can still use a light switch)

Reader

Kindle Paperwhite

Readers before they get a kindle: I could never use an e-reader. Readers after they get a kindle: “is that book on kindle unlimited?”

The kindle is truly one of my most used purchases of the last several years. Specifically the paper white. ITs small but not too small where it strains your eyes. Its perfect for vacations where you don’t want to carry around multiple long heavy books, and I love to read at night with the lights off and can turn on dark mode and warmer light settings so its gentle on the eyes. Ive read 40 books this year on this thing and it’s the best.

Special edition of a book they like

example (affiliate link, opens external site)

This is more general, but if you have a reader in your life and they love a certain series, see if you can find a special edition (maybe with pretty sprayed edges?).

Traveler

Beis luggage

Carry on (affiliate link, opens external site), Checked (affiliate link, opens external site)

Beis luggage

I travel a LOT. Ian got me Beis luggage a few years ago and it is held up so well and is truly so worth it. The carry on size is perfect (it’ll fit on most planes but technically they say it’s too big, I ignore this and never have an issue) and I can fit so much inside. I love the zip compartments, compression panel, and the checked bag has a weight indicator on the handle to tell you if you’re over 50lbs (it works, as I am often over 50lbs and it tells me).

Packing cubes

I tried a few packing cubes in years past and they didn’t do much for me. These are COMPRESSION packing cubes, and they are the only thing I will use from now on. Even if you don’t do the compression (which saves a ton of space), they are more structured and much better quality than most.

Travel makeup bag

I used to have a makeup bag that I just threw everything in and it was hard to find a single product. This easily zips open and I can do my makeup without having to take everything out of the bag!

Travel toiletry bag

This is a huge space saver in hotels since it hangs up!! It has so many pockets to keep things organized and everything is visible. I just hang it on a towel rod in the hotel bathroom and it’s perfect!

Dagne Dover carryall duffle

This was a birthday gift for me years ago, and it’s my go-to travel personal item! I recommend the small size, the medium is too big to fit on a carry on suitcase. It has a padded laptop sleeve, easy to access phone pocket on the outside, inner pockets for organization (did I say I like pockets?) AND I recently got mine dirty and through it in the wash and it came out good as new!!

Nori press

I bought this for prime day this year and I’m obsessed. As someone who is truly NEVER going to get an iron and ironing board, this has made ironing so easy. This was such a great thing to bring on my euro trip this year since Ian and I both wore a lot of linen and it wrinkles easily!

Kitchen

Ninja Creami

If you guys follow me on instagram you know I am the ninja cream #1 fan. Basically every night I make a new high protein ice cream. There is truly nothing like this and it has changed dessert for me!! You do have to commit — it either sits in the cabinet or you use it multiple times a week and there’s no in between. I highly recommend PEScience (affiliate link, opens external site) protein (code KATHRYN for 30% off starting 11/25!!) to go with it - it has the best texture for ninja creami and you can get 5 serving bags for $12 and try a bunch of flavors!!

Wood cutting board

We’ve slowly been upgrading all of our kitchen stuff and have been loving wood cutting boards. We got these last year as a gift and the quality is great and I love the little moat around the edges so juices don’t drip off!

Oral care

Sonicare

As a dentist, sonicare is my absolute favorite toothbrush. A lot of it is personal preference, but I love that it isn’t too aggressive with the vibrations, the heads are small, and the settings are easy to use. The one I’m linking specifically is a good balance of being reasonably priced but still has some nice features. Pro tip: only use soft bristled brush heads!!

These are the two best flosses on the market!! They are thick, expanding, and very grippy. They remove so much more plaque than any other floss i’ve used! Go for cocofloss if you like fun flavors, burst if you like to SEE your results (the floss is plaque so its satisfying to see all the plaque removed!)

For cats

Cat window perch

Peach and Pinto use this every day!! Its cute, cozy, and they love to sit and enjoy the view.

Fluffy catnip toys

We got these recently and the cats go CRAZY for them! They have catnip but also are fluffy (big hit with our cats) AND crinkly!

Cat spring toys

The cheapest, yet most successful cat toy. Pinto plays fetch with these all day long!
